“Learning acquired in youth arrests the evil of old age; and if you understand that old age has wisdom for its food, you will so conduct yourself in youth that your old age will not lack for nourishment.” -Leonardo da Vinci

In our Golden Moments segment, we celebrate people who have lived a life of service. These are the people who enrich our communities by their sacrifices.nwpsimage9.jpg

They fought our wars, built our roads, taught our children, lead our communities, while encouraging us to dream our dreams and surpass their accomplishments.

These are the people we should admire, respect and affirm. Without them, our world would be smaller, colder, and even more dangerous than it is today.

These are the people who know what really matters in life.

They gave us life, hope, opportunity and freedom, and they have much to share. A number of these people were featured in the first nine years of our series, and we will condense and reedit their interviews so that we can present their stories on The New Windsor Park Stories.

Now, in the twilight of their years, they have the freedom to speak directly to the issues of our time without fear or remorse. We would like to find them and provide them with a forum to share their insights and their wisdom.
